Vita
IMKA was born in Porta Westfalica in 1946 and now lives in the Rhineland Bonn-Bad Godesberg and Levens France, naer Nice. From 1974 to 1978 she studied art and social sciences at university of education in Bonn and teaches these subjects at the Troisdorf comprehensive school. She also lectures in art at the Siegburg study centre.Since 1997, IMKA has worked exclusively as a freelance artist. IMKA is a member of the BBK-Bonn, International Association of Art IGBK and the Bonn Artist Society.
The main focuses of her work are symbolic representations of emotions in the area of interpersonal relationships and the interaction between people and their environment. IMKA uses various media and supports in her work; for example collage, watercolour, gouache and acrylics on board, wood, paper and canvas.
